Corcao Construction is a growing specialty construction company in Jacksonville, FL working on commercial office, medical buildings, hospitals, and retail buildings on new construction, remodels, and interior buildouts providing metal framing, drywall, specialty ceilings and other construction services.

We have an outstanding reputation for providing quality work with professionalism and have a high volume of repeat business from our clients. We are seeking a full-time accountant to build on this success by working directly with corporate management in documenting daily expenses and developing project and corporate financial forecasts.

We are looking for applicants who enjoy working in a small office with a high level of interaction with co-workers and engaging in a variety of job responsibilities.



Duties:

* Maintains general ledger accounts entering and organizing project expenses and invoices; balancing job costs; updating monthly retainage, workers' compensation, and general insurance accruals.

* Summarizes current financial status by analyzing general ledger accounts; compiling and submitting financial statements.

* Manages weekly corporate payroll.

* Provides financial information by answering accounting procedure questions; researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations; determining current charging of labor and materials.

* Updates job knowledge and experience by participating in construction management operations.
