Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding Specialist for Same Day
Surgery and Observation visits.
Key Responsibilities
Code Same Day Surgery and Observation records for an acute care
facility
Abstract clinical data accurately and mitigate diagnosis
Participate in client and company meetings and maintain current
coding knowledge
Required Qualifications
An active AHIMA or AAPC credential
Two (2) years of recent hands-on coding experience
Active CCS, CCA, CCS-P, COC, CPC, CPC-A, RHIT or RHIA credential
required
