Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Prepared Foods Dishwasher to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Tallahassee. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen area.Key Responsibilities:

• Washing and Sanitizing: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our team members and customers.
• Assisting with Deliveries: Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products to ensure efficient operations.
• Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and modeling suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizing Sales: Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards.Requirements:
  • Effective Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for Cleanliness: Demonstrate a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Strong Communication: Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to Lift: Be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.Working Conditions:
    • Exposure to Cleaning Chemicals: Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Temperature Exposure: Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
